Microneedle Mesotherapy (microneedling)

Dermapen microneedling treatment (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a revolutionary, minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body healing response by creating new collagen and elastin.

What to expect after your microneedling

The procedure area will look red and slightly puffy for a day or two. Occasionally, minor scratches will occur. These may last for a few days and can be covered with makeup. The deeper we penetrate, the redder and longer lasting the scratches will be. Skin needling stimulates your body to manufacture more of its own natural collagen and this process will continue for several weeks to months and even up to 1 year in some cases. Responses vary. Some clients see a difference within a few weeks, whilst others take longer.

Cleanse the area with a gentle cleanser as you normally would and apply Aloe Vera,Bepanthen,Arnica ointment or your favourite healing product 2-3 times a day or as needed to keep the area moist for 72 hours following your treatment.

DO NOT use makeup or sunscreen lotion immediately after needling as these products are not intended to be deeply absorbed into the skin

Apply your healing product with a clean cotton pad and always check instructions and for allergies to any product prior to use. Resume use of your normal skin care products only after the area has healed completely. Regular use of Vitamins A and C, especially will further encourages collagen growth and will enhance your skin needling results. You may apply new mineral makeup with a clean brush after the second day as needed.
